
The Meteorological Department has issued a ‘yellow alert’ for Thursday, predicting light to moderate rain and snowfall in several areas.
Rainfall has been recorded over the past three days, starting from March 10, and the current weather pattern is expected to last until March 16. The department has warned that many locations may experience intermittent rain and snowfall tomorrow.
According to Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad, Director of MeT, the wet conditions, including rain and snow in higher regions, are likely to persist until March 15. He also mentioned that light rain and snow may occur on the morning of March 16, with weather conditions expected to improve by the afternoon.
