The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has said that there will be a planned power cut in some areas of Budgam district. This is to carry out work on electric wires under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).
The Chief Engineer of the Distribution Department shared that the 33KV Khanda Tap line will be shut down, which will affect the 33/11KV Receiving Station at Khanda. Because of this, people living in Chattergam, Magraypora, Suthsoo, and Gowherpora will not have electricity from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on April 8, 10, and 14, 2025.
Residents in these areas are advised to be prepared and take care during the power cut timings.
