Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir on Monday to inaugurate the strategically important Z-Morh or Sonamarg tunnel in Ganderbal district. The inauguration, set to take place around 11:45 AM, will be followed by an address from the Prime Minister. To ensure the security of the event, extensive arrangements have been made. The Jammu and Kashmir Police, along with paramilitary forces and the Army, are involved in securing the venue. Security teams have already taken control of the event location, and measures such as area domination exercises, searches, and patrols are being carried out to ensure smooth proceedings. Sharpshooters have been stationed at key points, and both aerial and technical surveillance, including drone monitoring, are being used to closely track the area. The security forces are maintaining 24/7 vigilance to safeguard the event and the Prime Minister’s visit.
