Lifeline on Wheels: GKF’s Mobile Heart Clinic Reaches Kashmir’s Remote Communities

In a significant step towards making healthcare accessible in Kashmir’s hinterlands, the Gauri Kaul Foundation (GKF), a philanthropic organization led by renowned cardiologist Dr. U. Kaul, launched a mobile heart clinic on Thursday. This initiative aims to provide free and advanced healthcare services to the rural populations of the region. The “Indian Oil Heart Clinic on Wheels” will initially serve three districts of South Kashmir, Pulwama, Kulgam, and Shopian, by utilizing existing government-operated Wellness Centres, Dr. Kaul announced during the inauguration event at GKF’s centre in Hawal village, Pulwama.
