The Central University of Kashmir (CUK) has announced an extension of its winter vacation until February 14, 2025. This decision was made due to ongoing inclement weather conditions and the continuation of student internship programs outside Jammu & Kashmir.
As per a notification shared by the university, offline classes will now resume on February 17, 2025. However, regular classwork will be conducted online from February 10 to February 14.
The decision to extend the break was made after a meeting of the Deans and Heads of Departments (HODs), with approval from the relevant authorities, to ensure the smooth continuation of academic activities.
Heads and Coordinators of departments have been instructed to adjust the academic timetable to ensure that the syllabus for the even semester is completed before the End Semester Examinations (ESE).
Previously, the university was set to reopen on February 10, but the break has now been extended to accommodate these adjustments.
