Srinagar Records Season’s First Sub-Zero Night at -1.6°C

As the chill deepens across the Valley, Srinagar the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir recorded the coldest night of the season at minus 1.6°C. According to the Meteorological (MeT) Department, Pahalgam was the coldest spot in the region, with temperatures dropping to minus 3.8°C. The steady fall in mercury marks the onset of harsher winter nights, while the MeT has forecast dry weather over the coming days, likely causing temperatures to dip even further.
